Tim Holtz - Creative Chemistry day 6

Three further techniques today but I'm only blogging one as there is too much detail on the front of the tag on other two and their fairly messy as I concentrated on the technique rather than the finish.
So today I'm showing Stamping with Markers technique, it's not perfect as I don't have any of the speciality stamping paper yet. I got fairly carried away with the technique and have about a dozen or so different version the tag on the left is a third generation watercolour.

2012 Tags March

Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2012 March Tag
Instead of doing the 12 tags of Christmas this year Tim is doing the 12 tags of 2012, which I think is a great idea, December has always been to hectic for me to join in the fun but one tag a month is a great idea.
I've used the large book-plate stamp for the background using pine needles distress ink. Seafoad EP as the grout for the butterflies, it's a little too bright but it's the closest I have to the cement. Finished off with four Prima flowers held together with a heart shaped brad that had a splash of green alcohol ink. For full details see Tim's blog.

Forum Birthday Card

I had great fun making the background for this card using an acrylic paint resist technique, plenty of inks and a bit of spritzing too. And of course one of my favourite stamps from Crafty individuals. This one was for Galina.
