Card for Penny

I made this card for my forum friend Penny.

She has been so brave in facing what life has thrown at her and I've never known her to moan about it. Wishing you a speedy recovery Penny.

Tiles for Penny and Tag

It's now Penny's turn to have her 2"x2" tiles as part of our forum's collaborative project. Penny chose hot colours with blue accents. Can't wait to see how they look all mounted together. Sorry for the delay Penny I had a terrible job trying to get the canvas to stick to the mountboard and had to use brads in the end, maybe I put to many layers on it! Gesso, paint, inks, mist sprays, glue distress inks, tyvek, alcohol inks etc. etc.

Tiles for Deb

It's now Deb's turn to have her 2"x2" tiles as part of our forum's collaborative project. Deb chose Tropical sea tones. I didn't succeed to get a decent picture of these as they're so reflective but I expect you get the general idea.

Here be Dragons

We were set us the Febrary challenge by Seona, to use some of the items she sent us. I had great fun tearing up those dodgy papers then toned them down using some gesso and glimmer mists and inks. My piece was to be sent to Ann so I added some Dragons for her. The whole piece has a nice soft glimmer but it hasn't shown up in the photo roll on summer.

Birthday Card

This was made for Carol a forum friend, who has recently had her birthday and also my first play with the Core'dinations Black Magic papers.

The challenge on Craftaway a Sunday is sweet and that is the first thought I had when I saw this owl stamp.

Anniversary card

After a day of so many things going wrong, it was pointed out to me that my wedding anniversary is in fact tomorrow and not on Thursday which I thought was the 29th. My original project wasn't going to dry in time, it will do for another occasion. Then I remembered I had this wonderful stamp from Elusive images which is perfect for my husband.
This also fits the theme for Wednesday stamper which is open this week.

Butterfly moos

The theme on Make a Moo or two is butterflies, this also fits a forum challenge of making a set.
Background is sprayed with a variety of inks and stamped. Not sure if the shimmer will show from the scanning.

Degrees of Red

These three ATCs are for a swap with the theme set as red. The stamp is from Elusivc Images.




They have all been stamped onto acetate using Stazon and have gold pentouch picking up the background pattern.

For the first 2 - I also stamped onto the white card with black Stazon and again using the same image but with a red ink pad to create a shadow image on the first one, for the background I dabbed a red cardinal petal point ink pad. On the second image smudged the ink over the lady to give her a little added colour.

On this one I applied alcohol inks Red pepper & cranberry to add depth to the background then overlaid it onto red mountboard.
