Santa's sleigh

Just wanted to share with you the great cake my daughter baked. The main criteria was it had to be gluten free so that her father could eat it too. I think she's done a great job, just wish she could learn how to clear up after herself ;-)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving comments.

Hoping that next year I'll be more productive and not accidentally delete those valued comments instead of the spam ...... doh!

Metal Flower Christmas tag

I made this flower at the October Artsycrafts event and thought it would be great on a Christmas tag, I didn't realise that the middle layer had swivelled around a bit when I took the photo but I'm sure you get the general idea.

Matchbox Advent Calendar

I set the challenge to make a Matchbox advent calendar.
This consists of 24 matchboxes - surprise, surprise covered in paint, paper and distress ink, then accented with stickles. The base and top were made from chipboard painted, spritzed with glimmer mist and rolled off gesso then topped with prima flowers.
